Comedy

Currently based in Ireland, I continued with my series of “poorly timed ventures” by starting my comedy career two weeks before the first Covid-19 case in Ireland. It came to a crashing halt after one gig until I resumed performing in April 2022.

As an autistic and chronically fatigued person, I use my time as a stand-up comedian to answer frequently asked questions to save time and energy.

My comedy guru is – Hannah Gadsby.

Priyangee performed at the comedy club I run in central Dublin. She was a pleasure to work with. In the run up to the event there was great communication. On the day of the event, she showed up early and was happy to help as needed.
Her performance was brilliant. There was a packed crowd and they were all laughing continuously throughout her set. I really find the juxtapositions of Irish and Indian culture within her material to be a breath of fresh air.
Would highly recommend booking Priyangee, and can’t wait to work with her again

“I had the absolute pleasure of having Priyangee on my stage. They are a consumate professional who’s comedy enlightens, educates and entertains. Their work is the perfect blend of social activism. And just pure unadulterated joy” Allie O’Rourke, Hysteria Comedy Network.

My experience working with Pri was that she was very organised, well prepared and calm (especially considering it was a stand up gig). Cool as a cucumber (on the outside at least 😉)

She was great at communicating in advance of the gig and on the night. And more than anything she was so well prepared with her material. It was a dream to run an open mic having an act who could deliver a polished set on first go.Louise O’Toole, Funny Women Ireland
